Board Member

Meghan Chute is a Fire and Life Safety Education Specialist at The Mesa Fire and Medical Department. She received her Bachelor’s of Education degree from the University of Arizona with a Minor in Spanish. She worked as a teacher, educating second and fourth grade students until becoming a member of the FALSE team at MFMD. She is in charge of the drowning prevention program and the school program. In addition to these programs, she is a certified car seat technician and educates the public on proper car seat installation.

Meghan has worked for Mesa Fire and Medical department for a little over a year and is passionate about educating children and parents in safety. Meghan joined the DPCA at the beginning of 2018 and is excited to continue working alongside such a wonderful coalition. She recently partnered with the Arizona Aquatic Sports Foundation and Mesa Aquatics in developing a free adult swim event and hopes to continue this event annually.
