John L. Harrington Jr., FACHE, joined the John C. Lincoln Health Network in May 2012 as the CEO of John C. Lincoln Deer Valley Hospital after more than 33 years in executive leadership positions in Valley hospitals, most recently as CEO of Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center in Sun City.

John was a founding member of the DPCA in 1988 and served as president for more than 10 years. He helped found the Coalition after his 18-month-old son Rex fell into the family pool and died in 1986. With his involvement, consumer product safety officials, firefighters and emergency workers organized to lobby lawmakers and helped pass a rare state law requiring pool fences for households with young children.

He and his wife Coleen live in Phoenix and have three adult children and two granddaughters.
