Tracey Fejt

Secretary

Tracey was an emergency room nurse for more than 20 years, and for many of those years she specialized in pediatrics. Treating drowning victim after drowning victim in the ER all those years, and having to be with the doctor as he told loved ones there was nothing else we could do, was devastating. She realized she wanted to be on the proactive side of drowning instead of reactive and work towards preventing this tragic event from occurring.

She is now the Trauma Outreach/Injury Prevention Coordinator at Cardon Children’s Medical Center and have been in the position since 2005. Tracey teaches injury prevention in many elementary schools in the valley which includes but limited to water safety.

Her programs includes Banner Safety Town that educates elementary schools children across the state of AZ.
