Jessica Mitchell is the Program Manager for Outreach at Tucson Medical Center (TMC). Jessica received her Bachelors of Animal Science at New Mexico State University before moving to Tucson in 2006. She began her career at TMC over 11 years ago in the hospital gift shop. She then found her true passion when she transitioned into Community Outreach and began focusing on pediatric injury prevention. Jessica now manages all of TMC’s pediatric injury prevention programs which include child passenger safety, water safety, and bike and pedestrian safety.

Jessica is also the Coordinator for Safe Kids Pima County whose sole mission is to prevent unintentional injuries in children birth to 19 years of age. Jessica has a strong passion to ensure that families are educated on how to keep their children as safe as possible. As the Coordinator for Safe Kids Pima County, Jessica has valued the collaboration between community partners and the ability for us to share resources and ideas that help ensure we reach more children and families in our community.
